Frankfort Pediatrics Ribbon Cutting
8/8/2022
Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. (CFMC) is pleased to announce the opening of a new clinic at 89 C. Michael Davenport Boulevard, Suite 2 in Frankfort. This facility is the home for the new Frankfort Pediatrics and is immediately adjacent to an expanded location for Family Care of the Bluegrass, also operated by CFMC.
The new facilities were formally dedicated on August 8, 2022, with special guest U.S. Congressman James Comer on hand to welcome the opening of the new site. Congressman Comer has been instrumental in supporting Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and specifically Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. (CFMC) who has multiple clinic locations throughout the First US Congressional District. “We are excited to welcome this new medical practice to Frankfort and to have Congressman Comer, a long-time supporter of Federally Qualified Health Centers, on hand. Making sure that all Kentuckians, from the oldest to the youngest, have access to affordable health care is key to a healthy Kentucky,” Dr. Eric Loy, CEO of CFMC.
Also recognized at the open house and ribbon cutting ceremony were State Representative Daniel Fister; State Representative Derrick Graham; Frankfort Mayor Layne Wilkerson; Molly Lewis, CEO for the Kentucky Primary Care Association; and Stephanie Nelson, Field Representative for US Senator Mitch McConnell.
Dr. Lindsay Gamble and Dr. Ginny Menche provide full pediatric care services to patients in this new location with Kelsey Willson, MA, LPCC, offering on-site pediatric behavioral health services. Operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with all providers welcoming new patients by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with 157 clinic locations across a 30-county service area in south-central and north-central Kentucky.
