I am excited for this new journey and thankful for everyone who was so helpful and supportive during the program,” stated Racheal Brown, CMA.
Kimberly Calvert, CMA, continued, "The CMA course was a great learning experience for me, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in furthering their education and career.”
“The CMA program was a wonderful opportunity to expand my medical knowledge. I would like to thank CFMC and everyone who helped me along the way,” stated Abigail Ramirez, CMA. Another graduate, Heather Ervin, CMA, continued, “Thankful that the company provided me with this opportunity to further my education.”
The certified medical assistant (CMA) program provides formal online didactic sessions coupled with on-the-job training alongside CFMC clinical staff and on-site phlebotomists. Knowledge is gained on obtaining vital signs, medication administration, assisting with in-office procedures, phlebotomy, and many other clinical and administrative skills. In the state of Kentucky medical assistants do not have to be certified. However, certification validates the knowledge and skills which have been mastered throughout the program.
We are proud of the hard work and commitment demonstrated by those in the CMA program. In addition to the eight individuals which recently completed the program, we have eighteen others currently enrolled, and others are anticipated to start soon.
