Dr. Anne Turcea Named First Female President of Medical Staff at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center
Anne Turcea, MD, FACOG, at Women’s Care of the Commonwealth in Danville was recently named the first female President of the Medical Staff for Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. In this role, Dr. Turcea will provide leadership, guidance, and a voice for the medical staff while promoting effective communication between medical staff and hospital administration.
Dr. Turcea has worked as an obstetrician and gynecologist for more than 18 years. She is board-certified, recognized as a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and serves as a board member for the Boyle County Health Department and Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
“I’m proud to serve as the first female President of the Medical Staff at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. My goal is to be an effective liaison between the physicians and administration such that we can provide the best medical care possible to our community,” stated Dr. Turcea.
Dr. Turcea is a native of Danville, Kentucky. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed her residency at the University of Iowa.
